About Us.
With home bases in Toronto, Ontario, in the High Park/Bloor West neighbourhood, and Hamilton, Ontario, we have become well known for our blend of traditional carpentry skills, in-house design and technical capabilities.
We take pride in our collaborative approach with homeowners, contractors, builders, and designers to complete small to medium sized custom carpentry projects which require attention to detail and a thoughtful approach.
At LadBrock, every project begins with our clients. We listen closely to their ideas and aspirations, then blend them with insights from classical and modern building techniques. With a deep respect for materials and their surroundings, we craft projects that not only fulfill their purpose but also complement the style, age, and character of the buildings they join.

About the Carpenter.
Michael Lada-Brockhouse is a classically trained and licensed Red Seal Carpenter in Ontario, Canada with a varied background in construction and carpentry. Transitioning from Blacksmith work, Michael started out his carpentry career working alongside Master Carpenters on wooden tall ships rebuilding and refinishing wooden hulls. Michael has served his carpentry apprenticeship working on many high-end, custom homes from the framing stages up to and including the trim work, cabinetry, and millwork.
With a focus on craftsmanship, Michael has the passion, knowledge, and experience to leave you with an elegant and thought-out finished product, all the while providing a friendly and memorable experience.
In his free time, Michael enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and dog, playing music, travelling and planning new and exciting carpentry projects.
